Reclaim is a space to come back to yourself at your own pace, in your own way.
About Reclaim
This practice is rooted in the belief that your body is not something to fix. It’s something to listen to. Whether you’re navigating stress, healing from trauma, or simply craving a more intentional relationship with movement, Reclaim Yoga offers an approach that centers choice, agency, and self-trust.
With Reclaim, yoga isn’t about performance or pushing past your limits. It’s about reconnecting with your body in a way that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable.
What is Trauma-Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga?
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCYSY) is an evidence based practice for complex trauma and PTSD.
It emphasizes choice making, interoception (the internal sense of what’s going on inside your body), and agency over one’s own body.
TCYSY focuses on…
Choice over instruction
Invitation-based language rather than commands
No hands-on adjustments
An environment where you are always in control of your experience
TCYTSY is for anyone who…
Feels disconnected from their body
Is navigating stress, anxiety, or trauma
Has felt uncomfortable or overwhelmed in traditional fitness or yoga spaces
Wants a slower, more intentional approach to movement
Our Team
Jessie Ripes
founder
Jessie is a RYT-500 yoga teacher who completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in September 2024 and her 300-hour trauma-sensitive yoga training in March 2026.
She is passionate about guiding people back into connection with their bodies as part of their healing journeys. Jessie believes that feeling safe in one’s own body is a foundational step toward healing, resilience, and self-trust. Through her facilitation, she creates supportive spaces where participants can move at their own pace, in their own way in order to reconnect with their bodies and cultivate a deeper sense of presence and care for themselves.
